The 2011 Jeep Wrangler is a very different beast from the original 1945 Jeep CJ. The old model was powered by a 60 hp four cylinder engine and fitted with a three speed manual gear box. The weight of this was 2200 pounds while the 2011 Wrangler has a weight of over 4000 pounds, along with about 3 times the horsepower.  Of course, 2012 Jeep Wrangler insurance would be a lot cheaper if it still made only 60 horsepower!
