Just in time for the Fourth of July, Jeep has announced that it loves America so much that it is offering limited-edition 2012 Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited Freedom editions. In celebration of the country’s 236th birthday, the Freedom editions will come fitted with Bluetooth connectivity, steering-wheel-mounted controls and cool features such as fog lights and 17-inch alloy wheels.
On the outside, a buyer gets to choose one from among three colors: Deep Cherry Red, Bright White, and True Blue. These patriotic vehicles will also sport military-themed star decals and embroidery and “Oscar Mike” (military-speak for “on the move”) decals.
From each limited-edition Freedom vehicle it sells, Jeep will donate $250 to the Fisher House Foundation, I Support Foundation or other military charity.
